Great for running and a multitude of sporting activities besides, the shoes are light in weight but heavy in durability, with features including breathable synthetic upper mesh to shrug off abrasion and ultrATAC™ outsoles that are specially engineered for grippy traction across a variety of surfaces. Extra touches include bungee laces with drawcords for simple donning and removal. A study of almost 900 men and women revealed significant differences in ball and heel width, instep height, and width.
